Last year, FECA church members joined this fundraising effort the first time despite limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team of 37 runners/walkers fulfilled the 6-kilometer challenge individually, received 136 donations totaling $8,131.00, and ranked 26th among 1109 teams. (World Vision raised more than $1.66M through 20K+ participants and donors globally.) This spring, as the pandemic eases and vaccines become available, we look forward to participating again. Participation this time will be in small groups organized by each member church. Please join the effort to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in needy communities around the world. May our little work of love be pleasing in the sight of the Lord. (Six kilometers, a little more than 3.7 miles, is the average distance round trip women and children in the developing world walk for water.)
