Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child

"A small gift to touch lives."

You are invited to take part in this unique social concern project by providing a gift-filled shoebox for needy children around the world during Christmas. With all the challenges facing us this year, children need a gift of love more than ever. We hope you will take the time to bless some children this year with God's love.

SHOEBOX DROP OFF: SUNDAYS 11 AM - 12 PM

On the Sundays during the campaign period, a booth will be set up in the church breezeway, 11 AM – 12 PM, to collect your shoeboxes. Remember to enclose a $9 check for each box (payable to Samaritan’s Purse) to cover the cost of shipping.

OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

If you cannot prepare a shoebox gift, consider making a donation to help cover the cost of shipping the shoeboxes. Please bring your check to church on the above Sundays payable to Samaritan’s Purse.

Serving Foundation International - Project Hope of Christmas

Every year during Christmas, Serving Foundation International (SFI) supporters travel to India to bring HOPE to the children at SFI supported schools and children’s homes. For many of them it is their first time they will receive Christmas gifts and hear the Christmas Story of who and why Jesus Christ came as the Gift to all.

This year it is a bit different because of COVID restrictions. Instead of making Christmas gift bags for Project Hope of Christmas, Serving Foundation International will host a donation drive where funds collected will be used to purchase gift items locally in India for the children there.

HOW TO HELP

With your donation to SFI, Christmas gift bags will be assembled in India for distribution to the children in SFI supported ministries. A typical bag will include a surprise-WOW-toy and stationery. In addition, a food care package (rice, lentils, etc.) will be included for them to celebrate Christmas.

WRITE SOME CHRISTMAS CARDS

We are collecting Christmas cards to include with each gift bag. Please write as many Christmas cards as possible with a word of hope and encouragement! Mail them directly to the SFI Office (8745 Cedros Ave. #1, Panorama City, CA 91402) OR drop them off at church during the campaign period.

CHRISTMAS CARD DROP OFF: SUNDAYS 11 AM - 12 PM

Bring your cards to the collection booth in the church breezeway on the Sundays during the campaign period, 11 AM – 12 PM. If you have any questions, please contact Timothy at servingfoundation@gmail.com
